For most Naples homes, we recommend a Sonos Amp powering two to four weatherproof in-ceiling or pendant speakers in the lanai, plus a pair of landscape speakers near the pool. This provides even coverage across the entire outdoor area without any single speaker being too loud or too quiet.
Sonos Move 2 and Roam 2 are excellent portable options if you don't want permanent outdoor installations. They're IP67 rated (waterproof, dustproof), sound incredible for their size, and integrate with your whole Sonos system. Move them from the pool deck to the dock to the boat as needed.
Speaker wire for permanent outdoor installations must be rated for direct burial or run through conduit to protect against Florida's moisture and UV exposure. We use marine-grade connections at every junction point and test all installations with a full season's exposure before considering them complete.
