This policy applies to information collected through our website, contact and quote forms, online shop, and newsletter.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Name, email, phone number, and address (contact and quote forms)
  • Email address (newsletter signups)
  • Billing and shipping details (online shop checkout)
  • Project details and photos you share for quotes

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and approximate location
  • Pages visited, links clicked, time spent, and referring URLs
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to quote requests, schedule appointments, and provide services
  • Process payments and ship products purchased through our shop
  • Send newsletters and service updates you’ve subscribed to
  • Improve our website, content, and service offerings
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

To deliver our website and services, we share limited information with trusted providers:

  • Stripe — payment processing for shop orders
  • Resend — transactional email and newsletter delivery
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymized website analytics
  • Google Maps Places API — address autocomplete on forms
  • Tidio — live chat support widget
  • TrustIndex — embedding our public Google reviews

Each provider has its own privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their policies if you have concerns about how they handle data.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, track website performance, and measure marketing effectiveness. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the site may not work as intended.

Our analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) uses anonymized identifiers and IP truncation to measure aggregate site usage. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements:

  • Quote and contact form submissions: 24 months
  • Order records: 7 years (for tax and warranty purposes)
  • Newsletter subscriber data: until you unsubscribe
  • Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default)

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (including Florida residents under the FDBR, California residents under the CCPA, and EU residents under the GDPR), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share)
  • Request a portable copy of your data

To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@techhelpswfl.com. We will respond within 45 days.

8. Newsletter & Email

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email solely to send weekly content and occasional service updates. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing immediately removes you from all future campaigns. We comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, encrypted database storage, access controls, and PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe) to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data and will notify you of any breach as required by law.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website or, where appropriate, by email to subscribers.
