The ideal TV size is calculated by multiplying your viewing distance (in inches) by 0.625. This follows the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) recommendation of a 30-degree viewing angle for an immersive experience without eye strain. For example, sitting 10 feet (120 inches) away means a 75-inch TV is ideal.
OLED TVs offer perfect blacks and wide viewing angles — ideal for dark rooms and home theaters. QLED TVs deliver higher brightness, better for sun-drenched Naples living rooms with large windows. For outdoor installations on your lanai, only purpose-built outdoor TVs (Samsung Terrace, SunBrite) can handle Florida sunlight.
